Richmond Marsh Restoration, Richmond, California

Members of the project team managed the investigation and remediation of red lead-based paint in approximately 40,000 cubic yards of marshland soil at the edge of San Francisco Bay.

The project included the characterization of paint in the soils, evaluating remedial alternatives, performing remedial planning and design, attendance at public hearings, providing construction management services, and interfacing with regulatory agencies. Based on the results of these services, approximately 39,000 cubic yards of the soils were remediated to levels suitable for unrestricted use in a residential area.
